Every project will have a slightly different workflow; whether it be a web based project, a printed piece, or a video. However all projects follow a similar workflow as outlined below.
This is where we sit down and discuss the project together. We go over the project brief, and establish the scope of the work. Then, once the written agreement and contract has been prepared and signed, we begin the project.
The first stage of most projects is to plan and build a prototype or wireframe. This is where we create a blueprint of what we plan on building, and focus on user experience, layout, font size, visual hierarchy, and then pay attention to how the information is structured and presented. This is to ensure that what we are creating is clear to the person using our product.
The first draft is the first take on the project. We get an initial product out there, and discuss it thoroughly. We make notes on the changes that need to be implemented, and work towards creating a final product.
This is where we create a final product for the end user. This is what the audience gets to see. Once the final product has been approved, the project is considered finished. This is where I offer additional support, however this does not change the original project scope.

Yes I do create logos and brochures. While print is not the forefront of my business’ focus, I do offer creating designs for printing, and logo designs. If you are in need of a logo, brochure, flyer, poster, or business card, etc, I can certainly create those assets for you.
Yes I do accept credit card payments. You can pay an invoice online via credit card, through the wave accounting application I use. However I do prefer to meet in person, work with clients locally in Ottawa, and accept either checks, or cash directly.
Every project I go through will have a written proposal and agreement outlining the scope of the project. Both signatures; from myself and the client, are required before the project begins. Which forms our agreement into a legally binding contract. Depending on the project, different type of agreements will be set up.
Payment methods that will be accepted are: direct bank deposits, checks, cash, or online credit card payments. Payment that is processed in person, will always be preferred.
All projects include one month of additional support after the project is complete.
